Director, SAP Functional Analysis

EyeCare Partners is seeking a purposeful, driven leader to lead a team focusing on evaluating, implementing and enhancing the functional capabilities of S/4 HANA application in Supply Chain and Finance areas. Key stakeholders include business leads of Procurement, Distribution, Planning and Finance.

The leader will be managing a blended resource team (employees, managed services vendors and on demand contractors).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead implementation, enhancement and ongoing support of business process in procure to pay area using SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members of other SAAS programs (HRIS, Learning Management Systems and Service Now) to ensure an optimized integration experience between the applications is built.
  • Manage leadership expectations during requirements gathering, implementation, testing and support phases with System Integrators, Vendors, other managed Services partners
  • Work closely with Solution Architect and Project Managers and guide the functional team on building a sustainable SAP ERP platform
  • Manage the vendor relationship with SAP and stay current and up to date with SAP’s Roadmap to successfully deliver on the overall strategy
  • Facilitate & lead (if necessary) fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business leaders, SI leaders and systems team members
  • Develop processes and SOPs so there is consistency and rigor in methodologies used to build solutions. Develop talent to ensure bench strength for key roles.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in information technology with experience leading SAP implementation/support teams
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience at manager level
  • Experience managing a blended resource model that includes employees, managed services partners and on demand resources to deliver excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and ability to execute despite ambiguity
