Content Producer/Specialist, Digital Experience

As a member of the EyeCare Partners (ECP) Digital team, the Content Producer will be responsible for creating content that shares our story and vision, promotes our brand, and makes an impact across many different digital platforms. This role is also responsible for building the content within the Content Management System (CMS), Contentful.

This position will report and work closely with the Vice President, Digital Experience to align on ECP’s overall web strategy and ensure our Optometry and Ophthalmology websites represent ECP in a consistent manner and brings the brand(s) to life online, delivering a positive user experience and provide value to visitors. For this person, this means partnering with other members of the marketing team as well as key internal stakeholders to maintain and execute content updates to enhance our digital presence, build web pages in our enterprise CMS, support web content projects, and help maintain our website(s).  Must be able to move between documenting strategy, developing a plan and executing a plan seamlessly.

What You'll Do:

  • Set up new pages in Contentful (CMS).
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our patients and their needs, in order to create web pages and experiences which engage them in a direct and compelling way.
  • Partner with internal Marketing teams and website analyst to execute/edit content pages as required.
  • Contribute in finding new ways to promote our brand across markets, using content as a key tool in product marketing.
  • Apply knowledge of style, SEO, and UX best practices to optimize content
  • Organize and attend stakeholder meetings and follow up on web content tasks
  • Support content audits, proofreading, and quality control checks
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness for the services.
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with business partners.
  • Ensure customer acceptance for delivered services.
  • Perform and/or assist with other duties as directed by management.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Contentful)
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Google and/or SEO Certifications is a plus
  • Experience working with internal business partners and outside consultants.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented.

Strong team player with an ability to interact with stakeholders from various parts of the business..

  • At least 3 years of experience using content management systems - AEM preferred
  • Familiarity with UX and web writing best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to be prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to engage with teammates and stakeholders
  • Experience adding metadata and tags to web pages and assets
  • Strong attention to editorial detail
  • Basic photo editing skills - cropping, resizing
