Manager, Social Media Content and Strategy 


As a member of the EyeCare Partners (ECP) Marketing team, the Social Media Content and Strategy Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a social media strategy for a growing portfolio of multi-location (350+ and counting) eye care brands. 

This position will report to and work closely with the Sr. Director of Optometry Marketing to drive alignment on ECP’s patient-focused social media presence. ECP’s social strategy should align with the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values to educate patients on innovations in eye care and eye health while building brand loyalty in maintaining a year-round presence in our patients’ lives. The Social Media Content and Strategy Manager will create and implement content strategies and collect engagement data while identifying trends among customer interactions to help plan digital campaigns that build brand loyalty.


What you’ll do:

  • Analyze the organization’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy to identify strategic weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements
  • Research social media trends and inform stakeholders of changes that are relevant to the organization’s marketing activities
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Frames, HR, and Operations team members to coordinate campaigns that align with current and future strategic business needs
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and measure performance against the KPIs defined
  • Provide consistent reporting on ROI, insights, optimizations, and future strategy development
  • Create social media campaigns, posts, and creative assets on authorized social media platforms to support the goals of the business 
  • Interact with customers and other key stakeholders via the organization’s social media accounts
  • Build, manage and execute a content editorial calendar
  • Assist in rebranding and creation of Facebook pages for newly acquired practices 
  • Build additional social media pages as needed 
  • Collaborate with the media buying team to align native and paid social media programs with current practice initiatives 
  • Manage location and hours updates for accuracy as needed
  • Monitor social media trends to stay abreast of the latest changes, available platforms design tools, and applications
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions



  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management, preferably in the healthcare field
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant field 
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Working knowledge of social media copy-writing techniques 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consistently represent ECP’s Mission, Vision, Values in all patient communications 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be deadline-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with Social Media Management software preferred
  • Understanding of compliance restrictions in the medical field a plus
