Associated Retinal Consultants, P.C . is a leader in the medical field, treating diseases of the retina. We have 15 locations throughout Michigan, with 18 Physicians practicing cutting edge medicine. Our flagship clinic in Royal Oak, Michigan is seeking a part time Clinical Nurse Coordinator to work directly with our ophthalmology patients.

 

This role has a patient management focus, assisting physicians with managing care with complex needs primarily with oncology and uveitis diagnoses. The nurse will also coordinate various tests/procedures and referrals to other specialists, monitoring results and communicating to the Physicians in a timely manner. We are seeking an independent, self-starter who is interested in working closely with physicians to manage some unique patient populations within the retina specialty.

  • Requires an active RN Michigan license
  • Prior work experience as Clinical Nurse Coordinator working with various specialties
  • Excellent communication skills including competency in electronic medical record systems
  • Experience in ophthalmology, oncology and/or uveitis preferred
