EyeCare Partners Acquires John-Kenyon, Bennett & Bloom, and McPeak
ST. LOUIS, MO – October 24, 2018 – EyeCare Partners, LLC (ECP) is pleased to announce its further expansion into the Kentucky ophthalmology market with the acquisitions of JohnKenyon Eye Centers and Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers, the two leading ophthalmology practices in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as McPeak Vision Partners, the leading ophthalmology practice in the Bowling Green/Glasgow, Kentucky area.
Bennett & Bloom’s origin in the Louisville area dates back more than 30 years, to 1987. The practice’s 17 doctors, including nine ophthalmologists and eight optometrists, are led by Inder P. Singal, M.D., a nationally and internationally recognized ophthalmology leader. At its nine locations in the Louisville area, Bennett & Bloom provides a full suite of LASIK, cataract, and retina medical and surgical eye care services. Bennett & Bloom has become the first practice in and around Louisville to offer cutting-edge procedures such as “No Needles, No Stitch, No Patch” cataract surgery, the Toric intraocular lens (IOL), the Ex-PRESS™ Mini Glaucoma Shunt, and retinal surgery on an outpatient basis using only local anesthesia.

Led by Spencer Witcher, M.D. and Mark Kroll, M.D., McPeak Vision Partners has been one of the leading ophthalmology practices in Southern and Western Kentucky since its founding in 1975. From its two primary locations in Glasgow and Bowling Green, McPeak’s two ophthalmologists and two optometrists provide a comprehensive suite of ophthalmology, optometry, and retail eye care needs. McPeak is the only local provider of laser-assisted cataract surgery as well as blade-free LASIK in Southern and Western Kentucky. The practice was also the first practice in the area to offer minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) with the iStent.
